Predatory mermaid
Hi, I am a makeup artist and sfx artist. This image was completely invented and created by me from design, modeling, molding and work on the set: work with hair, makeup, body art and prostheses. This is my creative project for which I made prosthetic parts: ears, forehead, nipple, nose, webbing between the fingers, ridges on the arms and shoulders, as well as gills on the ribs. All parts are made with encapsulated silicone gel. The body is painted with airbrushing, spray and sponge. False nails were also made of PET.

Re: Alternative to prosaide/super solve?
Isopropyl myristate is a good option as a remover. Hopefully she does not have any reaction to that.
Sometimes the irritation can happen just from the removal process regardless of what solvent is used, so it's important to take good care of the skin. One option is to use something like derma shield or another barrier cream as a barrier between the skin and adhesives to help protect the skin. Moisturizing after removal is also a good idea.
It may be worth testing some super solv on its own to see if there is any reaction, just so you can best understand what part of the process her skin is reacting to so she can be better protected.
Betabond is a good adhesive alternative.

Re: Live Courses for 2022?
Hi Quel,
We do have a lot of live courses scheduled for this year. Sometimes they are 1 shooting day, sometimes they are 2 or more, depending on the scope of the lesson. We can't share our shooting schedule as that is subject to change based on instructor availability, but you should get emails with information on live courses if your subscription level includes access to those.

Re: Dragon Geisha
I really like this!! It is such a developed profile. A tiny observation, could something have been done to the neck area & hands? Still a great piece of work!
Prometheus Regenerating

The Greek God whose immortal liver was feasted on day after day by Zeus' eagle. His remarkable ability to grow back his liver is symbolic of regeneration. Here we find Prometheus in the process of total regeneration and rebirth.

Succubus
This character was created for a short film called "Monsters"
Character Desciption:
“The succubus is the nightmarish embodiment of hero Dante’s struggle with lust and loyalty. She represents everything he desires and how he feels about them.”
Materials and process:
I created several flat latex stipple pieces (2-3 layers) that I attached like a corsage to the actress' torso. I also added several other stops throughout her upper body and arms of latex stipple. I body painted veins with EBA Red and Pro Air Warm Flesh. On top of the latex, I added pre-made gelatin (BGE gelatin clear) puss drops. Over the gelatin puss, I added two additional layers of latex and then ripped the latex open to make the puss look like it is bursting through the skin. I added more red and yellow colors with Mehron bruise wheel grease paints along the torn latex skin and gelatin puss. Then I added KY and Kryolan scab blood to the puss areas. I covered the actress' entire torso with Ultra Slime and added mouth stain in purple.

Baby Goat
Hi, I'm Lonneke, a make-up artist student in Arnhem (the netherlands) last year I didn't have many classes due to covid, so i decided to try and learn to make something by myself.
This is Baby Goat, an ex furby. I stripped the furby down to it's basics and then sculpted the goat design on top, molded it and then ran a prosthetic. For the final step, I painted him, gave him goad like eyes and punched in every white hair by hand. I also sculpted him some removable teeth. Now it's my little pseudo animatronic, used for projects by Goatstories.
