Woman in Black prosthetic makeup

This makeup was designed, sculpted, moulded, cast and applied by me. It consists of 4 overlapping appliances; 1) the face (excluding top lip/chin), 2) top lip, 3) chin and 4) neck. The moulds were mostly made of polyurethane resin, except for the neck which was silicone/fibre glass. I prepainted the pieces prior to application using a silicone/white spirit/oil paint mix and then tied everything together on application day with Skin Illustrators. The appliances were cast in Platsil 25 and encapsulated with Baldiez. I styled a 3/4 wig and to disguise its hard front, punched a faux hairline and blended this into the rest of the hair.
