Circus Cook with Argyria
Did this for Battle of the Brushes 2019- NY. The application took 3 hours, included a bald cap, 6 rubber-wear foam pieces, hand laid goatee and a head tattoo. It was super fun to do <3 The look was based of old circus photos and Stand Edmonds' makeup for " five people you will meet in heaven". Since it was a competition I… -
Alien Queen Cosplay
Hello. This is my Alien Queen cosplay I built last year, and it's the second cosplay I have ever built. All parts were handcrafted by me, including the digitegrade stilts. The jaw can be opened with my own movement and the tail is also flexible. I had a lot of fun making it and even more wearing it. Video and photos below,… -
Clicker -- The Last of Us
This costume is based off the basic Clicker designs from The Last of Us, a post-apocalyptic themed video game. Everything is hand-made, including the dress, mask, and all fungus pieces. Everything was applied with cotton and latex in order to add to the fungus-look, and painted with an airbrush. The mask itself is made of… -

Bat-Joker, dark knight version
The whole suit is made of both latex rubber and poly-urethane rubber including the belt. It took me around about 3 months to make starting with the cowl Then after I was happy with that I then went straight onto doing the torso armour. I then cast it in purple rubber and then brushed on some green and red pigment to add… -

Re: Bleeding Pentagram
HI Spike, For an effect like this you would have an appliance that covers the palm of the actors's hand, including down past the wrist. The appliance would help conceal flat tubing that supplies blood to the areas you want to bleed. In the example provided the tubing likely runs down the wrist and into the actor's sleeve.… -

Re: Dark crystal Skeksis, Skeksil.
It's hard to estimate how long the build took as I was in full time employment at the time too. A lot of it was done at weekends and evenings, and even the occasional lunch break or train journey if there was sewing or beadwork I could just throw in a bag. Start to finish, including all the design work, it was about 8… -

Custom Portrait Puppet With Moving Eyebrow Mechanism
This puppet was built for a client who also wanted a moving eyebrow mechanism included in the design. The dreadlocks were individually sewn and used to hide the tubing running to the control. My old dude makeup
This is a makeup consisting of 7 encapsulated silicone prosthetics (forehead, nose, chin/neck, 2 cheeks, and 2 ears). I made and applied the prosthetics myself. Mezkillah (Cosmic Plague)
This is a Mezkillah, a kind of rat born of the poison space dumbs. They love recreating the attitude of other forms of life, including human life. Bug Man
This alien preys on facehuggers by diving into their eggs and using his many weapons to stab, claw and chew off bits. His defense against facehuggers includes large teeth to prevent penetration for implantation, rear spiked shell to prevent tail wrap and of course the ability to ingest organic acid! His eyes light up and… -

"Kiwi" The Serval (Puppet-Mask)
As an artist and creature maker, who’s mainly oriented towards animatronics/puppetry, make-up, PFX and SFX, I decided to complete my academic creative journey at the Gorton Studio by choosing to make a Serval puppet-mask as my 3rd project. The goal was to create a mask with organic movement that would resemble the animal…
