Conan the Terminator
My idea for this work comes from a funny crossover. What if Conan was a Terminator??

Re: Glue ups for foam carving
I would use 3M-74 Spray Adhesive (Clear), Dual 88 or Barge Adhesive.
If you are not sure which is best for your situation or material, you can do a few small tests on scrap and see how they turn out before using anything on your actual project.

Glue ups for foam carving
I want to glue up a block made with 6in upholstery foam for a foam carve. What is the best glue to use to do this? Barges, 77, 74 or what?
Thank you

Re: Will Turner cosplay costume fabrics help needed
@Jared Lee I only recently came to that conclusion and decided that what is onscreen is what represents the reality of the character as a fin8shed product. So, now the really bad news... when color grading is not consistent from moment to moment. The Will Turner coat consistently shows as black or weathered gray black through several movies but the bandana, olive greenish in real life, shows as most certainly gray and then seconds later under the same lighting in the same scene as pale olive green. It is maddening. I rewatched the end scene in potc5 Dead men tell no tales, last night. Gray, then green, then gray, all in one scene, no changes to lighting or environment, just digital color grading changes.
Character Design Collab 'Gary the Debt Collector'
This piece was made as part of a character design course where I collaborated with creative writing student Cathal Brogan to bring his character, Gary, to life. He described an undead man who poses as the Worm King in order to steal the souls of people in his debt. I used his text as inspiration for my sculpt and then made the bust out of silicone and painted and hair punched him. I also created his crown from 3D printed finger bones and spine pieces.

Re: Eco friendly casting resin
Hi John,
When it comes to environmental impact the main thing a studio can do is be mindful and keep track of where waste is generated and try to reduce it, look for opportunities to recycle or use recycled materials, look into alternatives to harsher materials, and ensure things are properly disposed of.

Re: Will Turner cosplay costume fabrics help needed
Wow, color correcting, lighting, and lenses make a big difference on how costumes look on screen.
When it comes to costumes/cosplay I have to ask myself if we should aim for how we saw it on screen/ think it looked VS how it actually looks in person.
