Working on my critter
I love animatronics and creating critters and creatures. I have learned a lot from just watching a few videos from SWSCA.
Here is a video of my critter in progress, he currently has 3 servos and is controlled by RC. His head is about the size of mans fist. I apologize for the not-so-great video. I still to add arms, legs, tail, etc

Tony Stark is Steve Johnson in a different life
I was watching Steve Johnson in the plastic bag monsters lesson and it hit me that Downey, when playing Tony Stark, was simply channeling Steve Johnson.... if Steve designed weapons of mass destruction instead of fx. He listens to everything, gauging what it is you really want and then formulates a plan on how to get you that or better and does so with utter confidence, while snacking. Now I just need to get him to say "I ... am... Iron Man."
Re: What's On Your Workbench? (Summer 2022)
First, the applause for the Terminator work, above. Pro level work for sure @DragonWorkshop . And now for my buttons....
I am moving forward, painfully slowly on my current cosplay project, Will Turner, from the reunion scene at the end of Dead Men Tell No Tales. But here is my first step toward success. First, the inspiration pic of the onscreen button and then mine, not yet painted.

Then mine...

Hope to have this done before the thread changes to Spring 2023 workbench.... and yes, I obssessed over the buttons but am still wide open to suggestions. This set is specific to the one scene as continuity is somewhat broken from previous costumes for the character, but it has been movie plot plus ten years so changes are expected.

Re: Locust Cosplay gears of wars
No, I haven't seen this video yet, I have seen the "How to Paint a Monster Mask" video
and here is the beginning of the sculpture of the mask

1984 and similar
We were messing around with naming one of our new projects at work and were being cautioned about avoiding possible negative acronyms. So, of course, I came up with this:
Bureau of Information Governance - Behavioral Realignment Office / Training & Human Engineering Resources
So, I MUST beg here. Please, please, please, use this building and office location sign in your upcoming dystopian creations. I imagine it as two signs with the BIG on one large sign with a second sign beneath holding the BROTHER. No cost, just use it, it would be soooo cool to see this in production.
