Desert Wild-Life Previs
Hey, These are initial sketches for Alien desert Wild-Life. The main guidelines were designing creatures that live on the surface and are adapted to extremely high temperature. At this stage I focused mainly on defining shapes and pulling the most interesting silhouettes out of them. Walkers Runners Flyers Selected design… -
Scratch build Life-size T800 Bust
Always been a huge fan of terminator and in my opinion The Terminator has defined what a robot should look like. Here is my scratch build Terminator bust made from a very poor cast that was severely damaged during transportation. I replaced most endo parts with my owns sculpted ones and constructed the full bust. Hope you… -

Re: Draugr Mask
It's off to a great start! It seems like you have your primary and secondary forms well-defined. From there you can use a rake to even out the surface and remove tool marks, sharp edges, etc. Once you are happy with the forms you can move on to the finer details like wrinkles, skin texture, blemishes, etc. /Chris -

Dark Fairy Creature Entry 1
Hi! Here is my Entry 1 Monster made out of sculpey. I started with the wire armature, then applying one layer of sculpey and strating adding details on second layer for the better stability. I added epoxy to sculpt the teeth, claws and eyeballs. The wings are drilled in and attached to wire after baking, drawn in photoshop… -
Re: Week Two Assignment Image Gallery and Videos - POST YOUR WEEK 2 HOMEWORK HERE
Here my second one, it is on a very early stage cause I only have one day to work on it, and still not very convinced with the result, I only been working on one half of the sculpture and need more time to define organic shapes, I began to give some wrinkles to see were it goes...but well, it is an Humanoid Alien mixed… -

Hi guys, I hope all of you and your families are safe and in great health. This is the result of my first time ever working with clay. I painted the clay directly - no molding, no casting. It is painted with acrylic paints and brushes. I will definately upload a photo with a better quality soon. The size of the sculpture… -
Hints and tips help
Hi all, I have been sculpting for about a year and a half and am enjoying the experience, I am really trying to hone my finer detail skills, I love Warhammer 40k and my sculptures have been from that universe. I think I struggle with sharp defined lines and let's say when I and trying to do cables and wires with it never… -
Re: Homework - Rawi Fayad
by Rawi Fayad · · Home› Animatronic Control Systems - Arduino Programming Basics with David CovarrubiasThis code is for the Neopixels on the 'arms' - pretty basic, just wants the LED strip to 'fill', ie light the LEDs successively, in one direction, then turn the strip off and start over. #include <Adafruit_NeoPixel.h>#include <avr/power.h> #define PIN 6 void setup() { strip.begin(); strip.show(); // Initialize all pixels… -
Re: Animated Witch Doctor
Great video Steve! I really dig the user-definable servo limit setting workflow and setup process you have on those boards, very well done! I hope to make it out to one of the CalHaunts meetings here in LA eventually. I've run into folks from that group at ScareLA and the West Coast Haunters Convention and the meetings…
