Mask sculpt feedback
Looking for some feedback on the progress of this Sculpt. I've never sculpt anything to final detail and I want this one to be the first.i want to cast it in latex, silicone or gelatine as a one piece mostly to learn the whole process, it's meant to be a somewhat realistic but stylized witch. Thank you! -
My second attempt at sculpting with clay
This is my second go round at sculpting. With this one I wanted to model the design after Kurt Barlow and see where it takes me. I used WED clay again, and again I was unable to keep up with the clay. I move slow due to available time, lack of experience, and "being overly critical" so I'm told to where I'll constantly… -
Mask Mold with undercuts advice.
Hello! Newbie here having a lot of fun and learning a lot. I am making a mask that I want to cast either in latex or silicone. I made my own core and started sculpting with nsp clay, still blocking it out. I want to make the mold in stone but there are some deep undercuts(i think??). I'm not sure how to proceed. Change the… -
Painting urethane soft foam?
Hello all, I have recently tried flex foam-it 3, and it's a very interesting material, for stuff that doesn't need to stretch it can be really useful, and I'm already thinking about uses for other foams with their different consistencies, from props to costume parts, but... Isn't there a way to paint it easily? I mean, I… -

How to make multiple molds
I have a negative and positive ultracal mold for a foam prosthetic appliance and was wondering how I go about making multiple copies of both. I have tried, but for whatever reason, they don't match. The negative and positive don't fit into each other when I make copies, and I can't figure out why. I'm molding what I have… -
What is this tool called?
Hi all, I'm having a little language problem and maybe someone can help. I'm looking for the name of the drill bit people use to drill half-spherical holes for keys in plaster. Since I don't know what it's called in either German or English, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what it's called in English so I can look… -

I need a sculpting easel for a half face life cast
I need a sculpting easel to prop up a board or half face life cast to sculpt on. I don't think you can just buy them so I'm wondering if anyone has any dimensions to build one or if there are any tutorials. I've seen some nice one's that allow the back to collapse and lay flat for easy traveling. I've thought about a… -

PTM
Hey there, I've been making PTM prosthetics and I love them, but I'm running into a problem with them sticking to the transfer film (clear side). I'm using the PTM double-sided non-stick waterslide sheets, along with the the PTM product and it's still sticking aggressively to the point it ruins the piece. Does anyone have… -
Trump is... The Trumpinator
Hey all. This is my version of The Trumpinator. It’s a silicone and plastic full overhead mask homemade in my living room. Not married obviously :) It has glued on hair on the head, eyebrows and eyelashes. I decided to go with a non-moveable mouth to keep the shape rigid and preserve the facial features. Funny side note, I… -

"The Widower" - Animated Spider-like Creature Creation Inspired by "THE MIST" by Stephen King
I built this animated creature from scratch, heavily inspired by the spider-like "Gray Widower" in the Stephen King novella, "The Mist" as well as the movie (and the amazing props in it by the legendary Greg Nicotero) and other depictions based on it. I've very much admired the spiny hairs, crab-like claw legs, and overall… -
Twisted Doctor - Makeup - Rafael Santos
I always was inspired by the movies and series that I watched on TV and by the books and comics that I read when I was a kid. I try to recreate characters based on this nightmarish atmosphere that comes from there time. In this project I fulfilled a friend's wish. She is a chemical scientist and wants to play with it to…
