I wanted this piece to sit halfway between the cartoon and something more realistic to create a fun character piece.
All lifecasting, sculpting, mould making, foam running, costume fabrication and prop making and application by myself.
Foam latex pieces include a full one-piece neck, brow, nose and cheeks, ear lobes, and mouth/jaw. Wig styled by myself and stubble and head flocked to complete the effect.
Bone carved out of biscuit foam and sealed with latex. Dino constructed to velociraptor proportions over a pvc frame with a huge amount of expanding foam which was carved and then skinned with textured latex pieces I sculpted.
