Why vac form teeth to either .040 or .020?  Whats the advantage one to the other? If you double the .020, will it stay doubled?

    Thicker material will be stronger, but takes up more space.  

    Doubled material will delaminate (come apart) unless glued, but it's best to just use thicker material rather than doubling it.
