Wild Walk
Every year here in our town of Missoula, Montana, we have a parade called the Wild Walk to kick off the International Wildlife Film Festival week. Hundreds of people participate and it is one of my favorite events in town.
This year I made some costumes for my family and I that were much more involved than in the past, because I have been watching the amazing Stan Winston tutorials and learning prosthetic techniques!
I am a feltmaker/dye artist, so after casting our animal faces with gelatin, I made felt skins for them and also needle felted the hair to make them wild and wooly. My daughter's blue face was not cast, just felt.
I had so much fun with these beasts and I hope you enjoy them!!
