Twiggly: animatronic/ hand puppet

Twiggly is a puppet I made for a short film that was submitted to the Jim Henson Dark Crystal fan film competition. I have 8 servos controlling the eyes, blink, lips, brows, and smile. I sculpted the head and hands and cast them in silicone, hand painted his eyes, and made a cast of my own teeth. The jaw and head movements are controlled by a puppeteers hand and the arms and hands are operated with rods and cables.

I used the Stan Winston cable mechanism basics DVD to make the first puppet in this and Twiggly is at the end. I figured why not share this too, hope y'all enjoy.
