another newb to the forum

Hello,
I stumbled across the school and this forum about a week or so ago. I really like what is offered here. I started out in the effects industry in the mid 1980's as a model maker and a sculptor. I wish that there had been something like this back then. This is such a great place for folks to get their feel wet and to learn a good foundation of skills to build from. You are also building a portfolio of your work at the same time.
I have purchased most of the tutorials found here. No matter how long you you have been working you can always learn something new.
I look forward to being part of this on line community.
