The Mummy - Makeup FX
I tried to work with a blue tone remembering the mummies that are kept in metal sarcophagi. Which resulted in a really nice contrast when the photos were turned into black and white, like an old Nathional Gepgraphic Magazine. I made the latex prosthetics from two different sculptures and put the pieces together, including… -

Not quite done, but it's a 1:1 endoskull build (printed, aluminum, and steel components, plus LED's) with articulated neck, semi-functional mouth and neck pistons (including ball and socket joints at the top of the neck pistons). Should be done by the weekend- going to touch up the teeth a smidge, and adding the final… -
Mystic Inspired by Jim Henson's The Dark Crystal
Inspired by the 1982 Jim Henson production, The Dark Crystal, I created a Mystic completely out of Sculpey clay. I believe Brian Froud was the original designer for The Mystics because he did the concept art for the film. But, in addition I'm including a link that credits all members of the art department. I named my… -

Re: Student Image Gallery - Share your personal artwork with everyone!
Peter, Yes, it will yellow more over time. The Jolly Glaze is a better alternative. Also, but probably even more difficult to get, is clear dental acrylic. This requires clear dental acrylic powder and monomer, which is the liquid catalyst. I will do some more research on the clear alternatives and post them. And try to… -

Athena the forest guardian.
Athena is spirit guardian of the forest. She is beautiful and fierce . I did the entire process by myself with some help , everything from sculpting to moulding to running… -
Re: Copic airbrush system & Bill Bryan's custom marker airbrush
Thanks Cyril, that adapter looks like it might do the trick! Given the choice I would prefer to use Copic's airbrush (using the adapter Cyril found) since the way it passes air over the markers is probably pretty dialed in. But I'm sure you could design3D print your own adapter (possibly including its own nozzle) that… -
