    Title: How Do You Organize Your Research Before Starting a Creature or Prop Design?

    Hello everyone,

    I'm interested in learning how artists organize their research and reference materials before beginning a creature design, practical prop, or sculpture project.

    For example, do you collect photographs, study animal anatomy, sketch different concepts, or create a mood board before starting the build? How do you decide which references are useful while still leaving room for creativity?

    I'd love to hear how experienced artists approach this process, especially when developing an original character or bringing a concept from an initial idea to a finished physical piece.
