Re: Where do you get reference images?
When it comes to reference images I mostly search google images and pintrest. Sometimes ArtStation if I'm looking to be inspired by amazing artists. The most helpful thing in finding reference is defining a list of search terms and research those first to get alternative terms and related terms that can help you narrow or… -
Re: Getting younger
OK, I am adding diet to the plan only because of a crazy factor from body building pros called cut week. I had heard of this from competitors and have heard related hearsay from many women who personally testify to "carbs make me puffy". After a lifetime of hearing "if I eat that candybar, I will gain 2 pounds" and not… -

Re: Cold vs Hot Latex
Foam latex can cure at room temperature. And, the resulting foam is fantastic. BUT, IT WILL TAKE AN EXTREMELY LONG TIME TO CURE!!! The reason foam latex is usually baked, is to greatly speed up the cure time. When foaming, it releases strong concentrations of ammonia. Which, of course, needs proper ventilation. And, if… -
Re: Homework - Paul DiPastina
by Paul Dipastina · · Home› Animatronic Control Systems - Arduino Programming Basics with David CovarrubiasFixed the random shutdown problem, I was using too much memory by constantly creating new glow objects instead of overwriting the data for the glow objects that were already there. Here's the new code (no new video is needed, it still does the same thing as the one above, just better). #include… -
Re: Where to start?
Both the Special Effects and Visual Effects industries are rather volatile, so predicting their future is difficult. But in short, neither is going away. I have the unique pleasure of working in both over the years, and I can say that neither has a clearly defined future, but both have a lot of unique rewards and…
