I'm working on recreating George Barrows's famous Gorilla suit used in so many movies and TV shows. Finishing up the head. Next step will be hand tying Yak hair to a mesh body suit.

Hi everyone, SUCCESS! After a few mishaps with spilled latex, I got two good pulls of my gorilla suit hands.

I used off the shelf Orc teeth to sculpt around then ended up making my own set using dental acrylic. I made mine as a display piece and back filled it with foam. That allowed me to cut out the foam in the mouth area to fit the teeth set.

Hi all, Just wanted to update everyone. I ended using hard Monster Clay in the Silicone mold instead of Urethane rubber. I melted it down and pressed the clay into the two halves and put them together. I figured with Hard Monster Clay I had the ability to fix imperfections and/or add more detail. I've used it. Ended up not liking it. It shrinks up way to much. SFX Artist Chris Walas used it in many of his online tutorials and initially loved it, but he too stopped using it for the same reason.
