Casting could help in keeping consistency in detail between castings if you have to re skin it. Problems come when you have to bake the foam latex. Do you have a separate oven with exhaust fan to outside your house? You do not want to bake possibly toxic chemicals in Mom's baking oven! I recommend using what you know. You…

Thanks, I'll check them out. For now I only have access to a camcorder with a still mode, and a Sony Vegas software. I plan on doing blurring in post sparingly. Basically Earth vs the Flying Saucers. Thanks, the camera I have can't do high speed over 30fps. Since I don't have the budget, I may have to pull a Harryhausen. Earth v.s the Flying Saucers style. I may continue with this lesson though for later projects.
