Thanks, I’ll take a look!

I’m considering substituting chicken and goose feathers like in the feathers work course, but airbrushing them black for my raven. Any suggestions on alternatives would be appreciated.

Thanks! It was a fun process! On my next short I intend to use more shots like this.

Here’s a background on Masonite I recently made for a short film.

It’s a fan art puppet for a film I wish I had the chance to work on!

Some work in progress pics of a stop motion puppet I’m building for a contest. I really enjoyed David Allen’s Primevals, and really loved the design work and animation. Enjoy!

I was considering after effects, I’ll look at resolve too, and I have blender 4.2!
-
I finished my short capstone, Dreams of R’lyeh, including some pictures of the Cthulhu puppet, as well as a current werewolf puppet parts in progress for an upcoming project.

Thanks!

Thanks, I’m interested also in a smaller warehouse type of place. How would that work as far as zoning?

I’m actually in the process of finally learning to use a lathe and milling machine, so I’m redoing the balls as 302 stainless! Thanks for the kind words!

A basic machinist course. Also I’m curious about this ai thing, how it will effect artists jobs, and how to embrace/use it in a ethical way.
-
Thanks!

I’m doing sculpture for animation in Blender 3.3. I can’t wait to finish!
-
Also is there a procedure to reduce environmental impact for effects Studios? Thanks, trying to do my part!
-
Thanks so much! Trying to do what I love, but I’m starting to try keep the environment in mind too!
-
Thanks!

Progress!

Progress, on weekends!
-
Thanks so much! I’ll keep posted when I have more progress pictures, I’m really excited!

A 1/6 scale stop motion armature for a short film. Ball and socket is definitely overkill, but I wanted something to last long enough to make it to my props shelf!
-
My armature build wip.!

I’m just curious how to simulate the underwater aspect, it’s supposed to be the shark caught by a taxidermist during the 1916 shark attacks. So bay water, I know I’ll have to animate to simulate slow movements, but not sure about how to do it dry for wet, and in stop motion at those considerations. Thanks!

I have a still camera, and appropriate lenses and a subscription of premiere 2021, to give you an idea of what I have.
-
Okay thanks!
-
Thanks so much! I’ll be sure to watch it tonight!
-
Thanks so much! Looking for something less expensive than silicone, but not latex.
-
Thanks!

An update! I decided to get rid of the face as it looks like a twisted fairy tale book. I made it less pronounced!
