Hi, everyone. I tried to go for a driftwood texture on the main skin parts, and a hickory type bark on the branches. I was lucky in that the way the flash worked, his eyes almost look like they're glowing. :)

Here's Jimmy. I'm not sure much about him, except he is aquatic and a plant-eater. My suspicion would be a smaller life-form found in small still or tidal pools, due to the lack of large predators and the ease of camouflage as a plant.

Perhaps not to go over in the lesson, but a list of books, videos, and artists that have been educational? I know he goes over some in the video that brought a bunch of us here, but maybe he/we can generate a big fat list of "If you win the lottery, start by getting these..."?
