great work. I'd buy the album, no doubt.

Your video demonstration is full confirmation on the working function. Well done.
-
So his confident look, during these poses, was well before he realized his effects team downplayed the time-in-chair?
-
This build needs to be visiting Disneyland

and a second one... Bravo!! The step pics really bring it home seeing all the skill that went into this at each stage.
-
Bravo!!

Along with a believable character, you also created pro level camoflauge. In the first picture your hands can easily be mistaken for severed hands floating in the picture. With the proper veil, even clear with the same moss, you could scare the living .... out of folks by just "emerging" from the background.

My last few comp shots with Orlando to show some of the prosthetic work. Ears and nose were the biggest physical hurdles. The comp is Orlando first, then my modified lobe and then my unmodified. And opposite side. In this comp Orlando is on the left again. This shot (above) is before cover makeup; in order to show where…

@"Chris Ellerby" this one looks next level processes. Any chance of getting a few opinions on this? I am thinking brushing in some of the deeper pockets with a primer coat of silicone to start a first layer in direct contact before introducing any bubbles and possibly using some vibration during the next stages but because…

Very cool concept, very surreal like a good starting point for another round of Jumanji.

Sorry to be a pest but I keep zooming in closer on these pictures and the detail just keeps getting finer. This character can easily withstand ultra closeups. It really is screen ready. Very impressed. Also, can you pop in the link to your cosplay section thread, here on Stan Winston, just in case that one ends up carrying…

Here is the link for the hyper intense step by step on each of the main clothing items. This is posted on therpf: Thread 'Will Turner impersonation cosplay costume, Orlando Bloom impersonation cosplay costume'…

This is the link to the thread where I listed all the computer apps I use during the costume build. These help with sizing, colors, and finds differences so I can work on changing my features to closer match the target. https://forums.stanwinstonschool.com/discussion/9366/apps-and-tools-for-impersonation-cosplay#latest

@"Mike McCoy" admittedly you do great work and I am starting to just get used to that from you but dang dang dang, this would NOT be hanging on my wall. The number of near cardiac events I would be responsible for with visitors...

Solid build for sure, very believable as a real world nightmare walking the backroads.
-
I just saw a post of FanX 24 in Salt Lake of a similar character. The size was similar but looked like a costume. Yours looks like a character. The finish with aged metal look and overall weathering just brings home the suspension of disbelief. No glaring newness to distract from the presentation.

OK @StaggzCosplay, let me see some reposting in the costume contest. I am already jazzed up and ready to hit the like button.
-
Is this the type that is easily remoldable and doesn't dry?
-
Love the pic in the cornfield!!
-
OK, I have too many questions. Throw me some backstory on this cosplay build.

You have a crazy wide array of characters and, in each, I would not have matched you as the same person in the other pics.
-
Is that you Brad? ... Maybe... Janet? ....Possibly.... Doctor!!!... Most Definitely

I love it. You did an amazing job, but, had I seen you, in person, with that beautiful puppy, you would have been my "also seen". That must be what unicorns look like before their horn grows in. But, for real, bravo! Great build, covering many skills.
-
Thank you for the labelled muscle group pics, very instructional for the foam suit build.
-
You so t-rex with the one real hand showing. This build is gorgeous but that one little hand sticking out finally gave me a true idea of scale. This is massive.

The bandana process thread is here on Stan Winston forums, with special attention paid to the print pattern: https://forums.stanwinstonschool.com/discussion/9756/will-turner-bandana-for-cosplay-potc5-reunion-scene#latest

Many portions of the Will Turner costume build included sculpting items to then be cast and colored for use. First on my list was the buttons for the coat. Many existed online but none were accurate. This is the most common theme in costume re-creation. If you want it done right, do it yourself. This required having the…

That is the joy of Stan Winston School. To have the ability to be anyone or anything through special effects. Just ridiculously cool.
