Pros-aide transfer material freezer.

In the Tinsley video he claims that at -15° to -20° you get the ultimate properties out of the transfer material. He doesnt say whether thats Celsius or Fahrenheit.  I would like to buy a small freezer dedicated to this. What should I look for in buying a freezer for casting transfers?  I read elsewhere that some folks have issues if the freezer is too cold.  I'd hate to drop the cash on a nice freezer only to end up using my kitchen freezer anyway.   Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

  • Most people use a regular home freezer for this, which is usually around -18°C (or 0°F) so based on that I would go with Celsius.

  • Thanks.
  • Did he finally publish what that ingredient is that he mentioned in the video that makes the freezing transfers possible in the 1st place? Or is that still a "secret" ingredient?
  • Hi Wolf,

The formula used in their professional transfers is proprietary, however, the formulas provided during the lesson will still work great.
