What kind of paper is used by traditional concept artists and creatures designer ?

Hi ! I love to see amazing drawings productions by designers but i wonder what paper is used according level of details of a drawing ? (Crash Mccreery work vs Terryl Whitlatch for exemple).

As long as the paper is compatible with whatever medium you are using (inks, pencils, pens, etc) you should be ok. Paper selection, like other material selection, often comes down to artist preference and budgt. I've seen amazing drawings done on simple printer paper.

Many of the artists and illustrators I know (myself included) have a personal favorite brand or format of paper, but that is often based more on personal history and preference rather than any one paper being better. My suggestion is to try different paper type/format/etc varieties over time and see what works well for you, your style, and the mediums you like to use.
