In 1693, during the time of the Salem Witch Trials, Creed Bratton was an elderly man who lived in the woods of North Eastern Massachusetts. Being a mentally unstable and angry man, he was feared and left alone by others. Having no luck lately with food, he set out one night starving and looking for anything to shoot and eat, no matter who or what it was. About 2 miles out, he thought he had relief. As he moved closer to his distracted prey, he takes his shot. Before he can even move, Creed's soul is destroyed and replaced by his prey's and he takes his form.....as The Rake .
