Will you start saving water only once draught starts affecting you?
Earth is made up of 70% water just like our body is. We don't seem to care too much about the Earth drying up but we definitely would care if that 70% of water dried up within and started affecting us as an individual. Till it does'nt affect us directly, we don't understand the impact.
Here's a Concept Prosthetic Character which in literal terms explains the concept and pain once it's too late.
This is my personal concept and creation.
