"American Grotesque" Wendigo half mask
This Wendigo half mask design was a mix of a lot of different cultures in addition to an overall victorian (steampunk)theme. There's a Native American totem look to it, and influences of carved animal skulls that are common wallmounts in the Midwest (and Texas) but with a twist of a bunch of celtic ornaments and intricate knots. It was the female part of two masks that I made. (The male being a werewolf half mask.)
I used Chavant NSP medium in green, molded in fibreglass and cast in latex.
