#1 Gonzo the 1930's carny vampire clown and his agoraphobic conjoined brother Stanley

Entry #1

This is an original life sized character sculpture of Gonzo the 1930's carny vampire clown and his agoraphobic conjoined brother Stanley I created. Gonzo lost his arms and legs in the great circus tent fire of 1923 and now sells tickets out front of the freak show. I Sculpted them in Monster Clay and casted them in Monster Makers RD-407 latex. I found his wardrobe at a few used clothing stores and the hat is an original 1890's top hat I found on eBay for a steal!

The Stan Winston school has been invaluable resource for me. It has helped grow as an artist much faster than I ever could have on my own and has given me an amazing amount of new  techniques for sculpting, painting, molding and character design I use everyday

Good luck to all artists, I'm blown away by the level of talent I've seen in the entries!
