Character Makeup Contest: Sorrento de Syren
Sorrento de Syren is inspired in Mermaids legends. We all have the idea of mermaids as female creatures that have the power of attraction over men, to capture and eat them. In this makeup I tried to transform the myth into a sexual muscular man, who can develop power to influence over both women and men. Located the set in Aguilas, Murcia, Spain, the model acquired the rol of the creature and turned into one of those sea male mermaids perfectly.
Prosthetics done with flat molds and probondo precoloured with pigments and retouched with Bennye powder pigments to simulate the scales bright. Small horns fabricated with foam latex and glued with prosaide.
