Can you harden Chavant NSP?

Hi everyone, I ordered some chavant NSP and I am curious if there is a way to harden my finished sculpture so I can paint it and also so it wont get damaged. Do sculptors like Simon Lee harden their finished sculptures even if they don't paint them? Any help much appreciated!

    You can create a harder surface with a bit of paint like Krylon crystal clear, but it will always be susceptible to damage.  If you want to keep a sculpt around and have it durable, your best bet is to mold and cast it.
