Flat Clay Shapers

I came home after our session on Saturday to find that my clay shapers had arrived and holy cats, do they make a world of difference! I'm so clad that I got three different sizes so that I can get into smaller areas. They're really helping with this week's assignment.

I think I need to get some... I have one, but I have a problem I dont see Don running into with his. The tip is like glue for clay.. it will shape just fine, but 9 times out of 10 it will pull the clay with it when I lift it. And if there is the tiniest bit of clay built up on it, it will just roughly scrape the clay.. I honestly have an easier time smooting with a ball tool.
The problem may be that it's a product sold by sculpey..

  • I have had the clay shapers for a while now.  I have used the pointed one a lot.  Now I know how tho use the flat one, I am sure I will start using it as well.
